United Parks & Resorts UK and Ireland team seek new roles

The UK and Ireland boss of United Parks & Resorts, formerly SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment, has posted on social media that he and his “brilliant team” are looking for new roles.

Dave Ody, UK and Ireland market director, said on LinkedIn: “United Parks & Resorts (formerly SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment) have decided to take a different direction to manage the UK and Irish source markets for 2025. This means my brilliant team and I will be looking for new opportunities.”

He added: “One of my priorities is to help my remaining team write their next career chapters. If you need professionals experienced in brand management, marketing & creative services, media and advertising, communications, public relations, and crisis management – please get in touch.

“If you’re looking for a senior leader for a company or business unit looking to drive growth, galvanise and inspire a team to be their best… give me a call, perhaps we can grab a coffee?”

According to his LinkedIn profile, he has been with United Parks & Resorts (SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment) for 16 years.

Other travel industry roles have been with Club 18-30 & Flexible Trips – part of Thomas Cook Group – plus Virgin Holidays and Tropical Places.

He has also had roles in non-travel sectors, with Audi, Optimedia and Fyffes Group.

Travel Weekly has contacted United Parks & Resorts for comment.
