Failed agency Quartz Travel is to resume trading after being taken over.
The York-based agency has been acquired by ten-branch Millington Travel of Leicestershire.
“Quartz Travel is now fully independent and part of an amazing portfolio with synergies that compliment each other,” according to a posting on the company’s Facebook page.
Quartz said the agency will be back up and fully operational “very soon fully Abta and Atol protected”.
Quartz Travel, founded by entrepreneur Paul Smith, ceased trading in August after a dispute with Freedom Travel Group.
