All-in-one platform is designed to support travel businesses, so becoming a PTS member is a ‘no-brainer’ for companies keen to develop their reach
Protected Trust Services (PTS) underwent a rebrand in September, hosting a well-attended launch event at which the company announced ambitious plans to grow to 1,000 members over the next five years.
With new offices now open in Sunderland and Fleetwood, and the PTS team attending next month’s World Travel Market, there are great opportunities to learn more about the platform and how it can help agents grow their business.
Conference connection
PTS held its first conference over two days on September 25‑26. The event was a huge success, offering networking opportunities for members and suppliers alike.
The PTS team also had the chance to get to know current members better and to learn more about how to improve the platform to better support their needs.
Executive director Emma Collis says: “Back in February 2023, our team started to make plans for our first-ever PTS Conference. Our key objective for the conference was always to provide as much opportunity as possible for networking, while ensuring the conference vibe was laid-back and informal – everything PTS represents – so we decided to scrap the normal conference feel and create our PTS Summer Soirée.
“It was a two-night event held at Walton Hall Hotel in Warwickshire, where more than 100 PTS members gathered, along with suppliers, industry partners and the PTS team. “Speakers included Andy Headington from Adido, Jonathan Wall from Xeinadin and Dale Knowles of Universal Partners, as well as Daniel Landen, chief executive of PTS. Suppliers brought their products to life for agents while taking part in our fun and interactive ‘Supplier on the Sofa’ sessions.
“PTS is also proud to support the charity Julia’s House – a raffle was held during the conference with some amazing prizes courtesy of our suppliers and partners, which raised a huge amount of money for a worthy cause.
“The feedback has been nothing short of amazing. As a business, we have undergone some exciting changes recently, and we have seen exceptional growth in membership numbers throughout 2024.
“We’re continuing to make significant progress, enhancing all areas of the business to ensure we are doing everything we can to help ‘make selling travel simple’ for everyone.” Based on positive feedback after the event, PTS is already planning to host another conference in 2026.”
Stress-free support
PTS offers an easy way for members to grow their travel businesses stress-free, providing protection through trust accounts, travel software, PTR compliance, franchise Atols and more.
There are minimal fees and 100% commission is retained by agents, who can manage everything from finances to client itineraries, and can get advice on aspects of their business, such as legal issues, compliance and insurance. With these support structures all in one place, PTS makes selling travel simple for everyone from tour operators to retail agents and homeworkers.
From the conference
“One of the highlights of the conference for me was meeting different PTS members with various business models and ideas, which was inspiring.”
“My main takeaway was that our agency is in good hands, and that PTS cares about our individual businesses.”
“I enjoyed every moment and loved meeting the PTS team, and I learnt a lot about what suppliers can provide.”
