Thomas Cook has reintroduced Jamaica after a two year gap based on customer feedback.
The destination goes on sale tomorrow as part of the operator’s 2019 summer programme, which has been launched several weeks earlier than last year alongside its new zero deposit offer.
The operator last featured the Caribbean island, known as the birthplace of reggae legend Bob Marley, in 2015.
A weekly flight will be offered from Manchester to Montego Bay every Monday, from May 6 until October 28, 2019.
A seven night package to Jamaica starts at £1,149 per person, based on two adults sharing, with accommodation at the three star Royal Decameron Montego Beach on an all inclusive basis in a sea view balcony room, flying out of Manchester on June 10, 2019.
Flights start at £450 return from Manchester to Montego Bay, including hold and hand luggage.
Cook said the destination had been brought back to offer more choice to holidaymakers looking for an affordable, quality holiday to the Caribbean.
The range of hotels on offer include Moon Palace, Hilton Rose Hall and Grand Bahia Principe Jamaica.
Also new for next year are additional regional flights and packages. These include new flights from Cardiff and Belfast to Tunisia and the extension of Manchester to Marrakech flights.
Managing director Chris Mottershead said: “We are delighted to be launching our summer 2019 holidays this early, with even more choice for our customers looking to travel further afield thanks to the addition of Jamaica.
“We know that many of our customers like to return to the same hotel each year, or travel on particular dates, so being able to book early means they can make sure they get the holiday that best suits them. We’ve also added more regional flights for summer 2019, making it even easier to get away locally to places like Tunisia which is once again proving popular as an affordable holiday.”
The new £0 deposit buy now, pay later scheme, which also launches on March 1, allows clients to book breaks with no upfront payment and pay the full cost of the holiday via a series of monthly direct debit payments.
