An African safari tent featuring a topiary elephant will feature at next week’s BBC Countryfile Live event courtesy of Kuoni.
The tent will be set up in the grounds of Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire for visitors to explore during the four-day event from Aug 2 – 5.
Kuoni has teamed up with South African Tourism to recreate the luxurious safari tent which features an outdoor bedroom and free standing copper bath tub.
The event is part of the operator’s experiential marketing programme, designed to showcase the brand at events throughout the UK.
Last year more than 120,000 people visited the show.
Kuoni staff will available to book appointments, promote competitions and talk about Kuoni’s portfolio of holidays.
Kuoni is also sponsoring the ‘Big Barn’ at the show, which will host talks from television and radio presenters, and the BBC Countryfile Summer Party, with live music from the Shires and Newton Faulkner.
Brian Woodhouse, Kuoni’s marketing and partnerships manager said: “Countryfile is one of the most watched and loved programmes on television and the live event attracts people from all over the UK.
“This year we’ve stepped things up a gear have created a stunning tented camp to bring the safari experience to life.
“We’ve got an outdoor bedroom, with a freestanding copper bath and the whole look and feel of the stand is about welcoming people in to try the experience for themselves.”
