Food, blankets and toiletries are among the products to be refreshed in British Airways’ First Class cabins – as it continues its ongoing £6.5bn investment in its fleet.
The new products will be on board from March 31, and the British flag carrier said the products “will not look out of place in a revered five-star British hotel”.
Carolina Martinoli, British Airways’ director of brand and customer experience, said: “Our teams of designers, chefs and customer service experts have carefully thought through the details we know matter most to our customers.
“In this, our centenary year, we’ve sought out some of the best British designers and manufacturers to work with to ensure travelling in First with British Airways is an unforgettable experience.”
First customers will be offered loungewear designed by Temperley which will be coupled with amenity bags filled with products from Elemis.
There will be a new a la carte menu alongside a new afternoon tea service. As part of the changes, the carrier is also investing in Dartington Glassware onboard.
BA’s First passengers will continue to have access to the exclusive First Wing at Heathrow Terminal 5, which provides private check-in, dedicated security and the First Lounge.
