Neil Armorgie steps down from Advantage

Advantage Travel Partnership global product director and chief executive of WIN, Neil Armorgie, is to step down.

He will leave the organisation’s business travel unit on February 18, 2020.

Armorgie is joining Snowstorm Technologies, which has connections with WIN Hotel Hub and is an Advantage commercial partner.

Ken McLeod will continue as non-executive director on the board of Worldwide Independent Travel Network (WIN) to provide transitional support over the next six months.

Advantage chief executive Julia Lo Bue-Said said: “We thank Neil for his dedication over the past 17 years and he will be missed at Advantage Travel Partnership and WIN.

“As a part of Advantage’s restructure, which supports future growth and vision, we are now looking to recruit a creative individual who can lead Advantage’s business travel division, corporate hotel programme, as well as progress the expansion of the WIN global travel network.”

A total of 11 travel management companies have joined Advantage Business Travel this year.

The Travel Group and Belair Travel are latest members to join the consortium, raising collective turnover of the business travel division by £220 million to a total of £3.5 billion.
