Members of the Association of Touring and Adventure Suppliers (Atas) will be offering discounts and booking incentives to encourage sales during the turn-of-year sales period.
Titan Travel is running an incentive for agents from December 27 to February 29, offering £20 vouchers for long-haul bookings and £10 voucher for short-haul. Agents must claim within seven days by emailing agentincentives@titantravel.co.uk.
Those booking a Titan holiday during the campaign will be automatically entered into a draw to win a £4,000 voucher that can be used on a Titan holiday.
Last year’s winner was Caroline North, branch manager at Thornton’s Travel, who joined Titan’s small-group ‘Natural Wonders of Costa Rica’ tour in November.
Newmarket Holidays is promoting an early booking discount of 5% and its annual “Golden Ticket” promotion, with prize-winning tickets hidden in brochures for agents to find.
Riviera Travel will be running a selection of offers from December 26 on escorted tours and European river cruises.
On long-haul tours, clients can book luxury door-to-door airport transfers from £49 return, if booked by January 31.
For selected European tours, there is free fast-track access through airport security on outbound flights, except from Cardiff and Belfast International airports.
Leger Holidays will encourage consumers to visit travel agents to make bookings during its turn-of-year TV advertising campaign.
The operator will be using a new ‘You’re in Good Company’ strapline and the TV ads will support new brochures, marketing materials and a new website.
Collette is offering a bonus £100 commission on new reservations made between November 11 and January 31.
It can be used for additional income or to boost the offer for the customer, adding services such as door-to-door transfers or airport parking.
