Fred Olsen Cruise Lines’ sales and marketing director Nathan Philpot is leaving the company.
Philpot leaves with immediate effect but the reasons surrounding his departure are unknown.
In a statement the cruise line said a replacement was being sought, but gave no indication of Philpot’s future career plans.
Philpot joined the company in August 2011, taking overall responsibility for sales, marketing and reservations for the UK and international markets, as well as leading product development. He previously worked at Page & Moy, Elegant Resorts, Kuoni and Wexas.
Managing director Mike Rodwell said: “I wish to thank Nathan for his contribution to the business during his time with Fred Olsen Cruise Lines.
“The brand has benefitted significantly from his insight and acumen over the years, and we wish him every success with his future plans.”
Neil Herbert remains in charge of sales, supported by Jeremy Hatton, and Justin Stanton continues as head of marketing.
