Air France and KLM have moved flights to Heathrow Terminal 3 after temporarily operating from Terminal 2 following the closure of Terminal 4 due to the pandemic.
The move will allow passengers to arrive and depart from the same terminal as SkyTeam alliance partners Delta Air Lines and Virgin Atlantic.
It will cut the minimum connecting time for passengers transiting between flights to North America within the same terminal.
Passengers will also have access to central London, with the Heathrow Express departing directly from Terminal 3.
Eligible Air France and KLM customers will also have access to the No 1 Lounge in Terminal 3.
Air France and KLM currently operate 63 weekly flights to Paris and Amsterdam from Heathrow.
UK and Ireland general manager Fahmi Mahjoub said: “We are very pleased to commence flying from Terminal 3.
“This move brings us and our partners, Delta Air Lines and Virgin Atlantic, closer together under one roof, and will further improve customer experience especially for our transatlantic passengers.”
