Jet2holidays cancels Poland and Bulgaria departures

Jet2holidays has cancelled some holidays to Poland and delayed the start of its 2022 Bulgaria programme from some UK airports.

Poland borders Ukraine, which has been invaded by Russia, and Bulgaria’s east coast sits on the Black Sea in eastern Europe.

Holidays to Poland will run as normal up to March 21, but all departures booked between March 22 and May 26 will be automatically cancelled, with a full refund except for admin fees. Jet2holidays offers city breaks to Krakow.

Flights are scheduled to recommence from May 27.

Jet2holidays also confirmed a delay to the start of its Bulgaria programme for summer 2022.

Departures from Birmingham and Stansted will not start until May 20, and flights and holidays from Edinburgh will not begin until May 31. Affected bookings will receive a full refund, except for admin fees.

In a message to travel agents, the operator said: “Due to current circumstances, we at Jet2holidays have had to review out flying programme to Poland and Bulgaria.”
