New Aer Lingus Regional operator Emerald Airlines has started serving Dublin from Leeds Bradford airport.
Up to two flights a day will provide connections to the Aer Lingus transatlantic network with pre-clearance of US Immigration at Dublin airport.
Aer Lingus Regional flights are operated by ATR72-600 turboprop aircraft with one-way fares on the Leeds Bradford routes starting at £34.99.
The carrier is also raising capacity between the Yorkshire airport and Belfast from next month.
Head of commercial Ciarán Smith said: “We recognise the vital importance of regional air connectivity and the key role that this air link to Dublin provides for business, tourism and leisure travel.
“In addition, we’re excited to add additional capacity to our existing service from Leeds to Belfast City from mid-May, and I am sure this additional capacity will prove popular for business customers. In particular, the new morning and afternoon flight facilitates day return options.”
Nine airlines will serve more than 64 international scheduled destinations, four domestic routes and three charter destinations this summer from Leeds Bradford.
