Top level VisitBritain management reshuffle revealed

A senior management reshuffle at VisitBritain has been triggered with Patricia Yates stepping up as interim chief executive.

The changes come as the UK tourism organisation drives its priority to boost recovery of the industry “as quickly as possible”.

Yates was elevated from her deputy chief executive position on an interim basis when VisitBritain head Sally Balcombe stepped down earlier this month.

In other changes, marketing director Clare Mullin will step into a temporary role as transformation director.

Robin Johnson will be taking on the role of marketing director, with Gary Robson taking on the role of Europe director.

England director Andrew Stokes will lead the body’s retail operation, supported by Lyndsey Turner-Swift as England deputy director.

Shivah Jahangir-Tafreshi also steps up to become new strategy and communications director.
