Plus, booking with Balkan Holidays means saving even more. With a summer sale, thousands of free child places and deposits for Bulgarian beach holidays as low as £49 per person, your clients don’t have to break the bank to feel the sand between their toes.

Coast and culture

Sunny Beach is one of Bulgaria’s most popular beach destinations and it’s not hard to see why. There are many great-value family-friendly hotels and resorts, and a five-mile stretch of sandy beach to enjoy. In the town centre, visitors are spoilt for choice with quality restaurants, and when the sun goes down, the venues along the seafront come alive.

But it’s not all about the beach bars. Just a short drive away is the charming Unesco-listed town of Nessebar. Meander through the cobbled streets to discover hidden churches and ruins, some dating back hundreds of years.

To explore Bulgaria at its most authentic, head to the ancient seaside town of Sozopol. Grab a drink in the town square and soak up the rays before exploring its winding streets. It’s a great way to discover what local life is like on the Black Sea coast.

Balkan Holidays offers a huge range of flights, hotels and resorts, so whatever type of beach your clients are looking for, they will be spoilt for choice.

And in winter… three top ski resorts

Bulgaria isn’t just about the beaches. Head here in winter to try out some world-class and excellent-value ski resorts. Here are three of the best:

1. Bansko
Skiers of all abilities will love Bansko’s different levels of slopes. The popular resort is set at the foot of the Pirin Mountains, while the town itself is full of historical buildings and beautiful churches.

2. Borovets
This is the oldest ski resort in Bulgaria, with some incredible views of the surrounding forest. Borovets has some vibrant and good-value restaurants and bars nearby to make for memorable après-ski.

3. Pamporovo
Despite being close to the border with Greece in the south, Pamporovo has some fantastic snow in winter. The resort is on the smaller side, making it particularly suitable for beginners.
