Libra axes Priceright with 2001 integration

Summer rebrand

Report by STEVEJONES

LIBRA Holidays has dropped the Priceright brand as it launches its summer 2001 Cyprus programme.

The operator has issued the brochure under the Libra group banner with the aim of broadening the appeal and quality of its product.

Priceright’s Greece programme will also be rebranded to Libra Holidays when it is released at the end of the month.

Libra sales and marketing manager Kim Wannacott said: “It is the right time for the Libra Holidays Group to rebrand as we have expanded our portfolio and destination range to include Egypt and the US.

“We needed to establish a brand that could combine our existing destinations with our recent additions.”

All the major resorts are included in the Cyprus programme including Limassol, Paphos, Ayia Napa, Larnaca, Pissouri, Polis and Latchi.

Two agrotourism hotels are also featured – the Droushia Heights in Droushia and the Rodon Mount Hotel in Agros. The programme has a total capacity of 130,000.

Prices in the programme lead in at £279 per person for seven nights self-catering at the Renos Apartments in Polis departing May 28-June 11.

New for 2001 are summer honeymoon packages available at most hotels and self-catering apartments.

Offers include two weeks for the price of one on departures between April 21 and June 19 and September 24 and October 11. Free three-day car hire on selected accommodation and 5% discounts on cruises and over-55s are also available.

Flights are available from 18 UK airports to Larnaca and Paphos.
