Air capacity to Croatian resorts will increase this summer following the introduction of larger Airbus aircraft by Croatia Airlines and the addition of new flights.
Croatia Airlines is to operate weekly services from Manchester to both Dubrovnik and Split from late April. It will also replace last summer’s single weekly service to the two Croatian points. Delivery of two new Airbus aircraft in June – the final stage in Croatia Airlines’ £200m re-equipment programme – will give the carrier an all-Airbus fleet of three 162-seat A320s and four 132-seat A319s. Adria Airways’ new weekly service from Heathrow to Slovenia’s capital, Ljubljana, and Dubrovnik starts in June, facilitating two-centre holidays from the UK to Slovenia and Croatia. Thomson has already contracted seats.
