n thomas cook flags up themed resort hotelsThomas Cook Holidays is introducing new themed resort hotels in its Signature Florida brochure for 2001. They include Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge and Orlando’s Hard Rock Hotel. It has also added Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort for the first time. Prices are from £895.
n four-star hotel to open in palm springs
Opening next summer is Palm Springs’ first four-star resort hotel to be built in 12 years. The $90m property, called Radisson Resort and Vacation Villas at Star Canyon Palm Springs, is located in 12 acres and has 198 rooms and 176 timeshare units.
n tradewinds offers new us destinations
The latest edition of Tradewinds’ special-offer programme, Trade Secrets, features some new US holidays. They include a 10-night twin-centre New York/Orlando package from £849, as well as a 14-night Orlando/St Petersburg holiday for £699, and a 14-night Los Angeles/ Hawaii/ Las Vegas deal from £1,099.
n jetlife promotes child fares on virgin
Jetlife is promoting child fares from £119 return on Virgin Atlantic flights to Orlando or Miami in its 2001 Florida preview brochure. Other deals include $130 cashback per room for those staying in Disney resort hotels and buying the Disney Unlimited Magic Pass.
