ON THE MOVE:
n WaltDisney Travel Company has expanded its management team with the appointment of Jane Niblock as operations manager. Niblock has 15 years’ experience in the industry, recently spending 10 years with the Thomson Travel Group.n Chris Hawkins has been appointed managing director of World Travel Holdings’ trade arm, fare1, an on-line booking and information system. He joins following two years at British Airways.
n Glenn Powell has been appointed as head of the newly formed UKConference Division of the Phoenix Travel Alliance. Powell will run the new London office of US-based Advanced Meeting Part-ners, which will be based in Phoenix’s head office.
n Leeds Bradford International airport has appointed Kate O’Hara as its new head of marketing and business development. O’Hara, who currently heads the marketing department at Teesside International Airport, hopes to attract new scheduled and charter services.
n Teesside International Airport’s managing director Bob Goldfield has been appointed to airport general manager at Shannon Airport, Southern Ireland. Teesside airport is now looking for a successor.
