Hilton International chief executive David Michels is the keynote speaker at the British Incoming Tour Operators Association conference next month in Belfast.
Michels will be focusing on the future of the travel industry in the new millennium at the convention and workshop, to be held between February 10-12.
BITOA’s legal consultant Peter Stewart discusses law and the travel industry, while Eastcastle managing director Michael East will examine customer demands.
Minister of tourism Janet Anderson and Northern Ireland’s minister of tourism Sir Reg Empey will also attend.
BITOAchief executive Richard Tobias said around 275 have already signed up for the event.
Workshops and surgeries, familiarisation tours and a gala dinner at Belfast Castle will also be held.
Representatives from the British Tourist Authority and sports celebrities such as the Olympic javelin champion Tessa Sanderson will be attending the BITOAconference in order to help promote sports tourism.
