A NEW on-line product which enables passengers to plan their journey on the London Underground has been updated specially for use by business travellers.
The product, called TubePlanner, allows users to plan the best tube journey between two points, either by entering tube stations, street names, or by choosing from a list of well known landmarks, buildings and institutions.
It has information including journey time, prices, scheduled repair work to stations and tracks and a smart search to find the nearest Tube station to the user’s start point and destination. The new version has been tailored specifically to allow the corporate user to enter an additional places list with his or her own branch offices, partner company offices, recommended hotels or restaurants.
Companies can also include a text file to give directions from the nearest tube station to the buildings they choose.
It also allows companies to customise the product by inserting their own logo on the screen.
