Based in Lymington, Hampshire the operator traded under the following names: Egyptian Encounter, Egyptian Experience, Jordanian Encounter and Jordanian Experience. Customers are protected under the Civil Aviation Authority’s Air Travel Organiser’s Licensing scheme and the bond has been called.
n lombok trips shelved
Tour operators have cancelled bookings to Lombok following religious riots on the Indonesian island. Kuoni has discontinued sales for February and moved passengers already on the island to Bali. British Airways Holidays is offering clients a full refund or the option to choose another destination.
n bibb quits galileo
Galileo Internationalvice-president for sales and service, Dean Bibb, is stepping down following the relocation of the company from Swindon to Windsor. Bibb, who has been commuting from Swindon since Galileo moved offices last September, is believed to be pursuing other job opportunities. A Galileo spokesman admitted others among the 68 staff were considering leaving as a result of the relocation. Bibb will be replaced by Gordon Wilson, currently based in Denver asvice-president of customer service delivery.

Euro Disney SCA, the operating company of Disneyland Paris, reported an 8% increase in operating revenues to £137m for the fourth quarter of 1999, attributed to an increased average spend per guest.
