Funway puts focus on price for Florida
ONE-WEEK family prices to Florida from £1,208 are one of the key selling points in Funway Holidays’ Florida and Mexico brochure for 2001.
This covers two adults and two children under 12 staying at the Econo Lodge Maingate Resort in Orlando, close to Walt Disney World Resort, flights and car hire. The operator is also featuring free meals and children’s clubs, free shuttle services, Disney’s Ultimate Park Hopper ticket included in seven-night holidays and discounts on attractions.
Managing director Stephen Hughes said: “Our Florida business is up by 35% over this time last year. We use only scheduled airlines and have a huge supply of rooms, which means we can offer flexibility on all Florida holidays.”
Prices lead in at £435 per person per week at the Econo Lodge. Seven nights in Orlando combined with a week on the Gulf Coast at Clearwater and St Pete’s starts at £626.
An early-booking bonus on selected 14-night holidays is also targeted at the family market. Reservations made before the end of this month include £139 return flights for children aged two to 11 and free accommodation when sharing with two adults.
