Step back in time to get down and party

THE ABTA convention is not just about discussing the issues that affect the industry.

Anyone who has attended in the past will tell you there are equal measures of work and play and, once again, official ABTA night spots have been laid on for your entertainment.

As we like to see you enjoying yourselves, Travel Weekly is sponsoring all the official events.

The Fashion Club is the venue for entertainment on each of the four evenings.

On Friday night, you can take a step back in time for an ’80s theme night.

Saturday night sees MASSIVE! at Fashion, backed by premier UK club Ministry of Sound.

It’s back in time again on Sunday, this time with a ’70s night involving plenty of boogie. You’ve heard of Saturday Night Fever. On Monday, Fashion will round off the convention with a dose of Monday Night Fever.

ABTA’s Piano Bar, at Kipriotis village, will feature the Black Tie Trio on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Those with a taste for all things Irish should head to the O’uzos Irish Bar, which will be serving Irish whiskey and Guinness.

Just to make your life that bit smoother, those nice people at First Choice are laying on a nightclub shuttle service to all the official nightspots.

Enjoy yourselves but remember – life gets back to normal on Tuesday.
