Reavely quits Sibbald for top marketing position at Barrhead
SIBBALD Travel head of sales and marketing Gary Reavely has quit after almost20 years at the agency to become marketing director at Barrhead Travel International.
He said his career at Sibbald had started to go backwards since the Edinburgh-based agency was acquired by Thomson in March last year.
“I was sales and marketing director at Sibbald but we all had to resign our posts when Thomson came in,” he said.
He added: “There are no hard feelings but the job I have been doing for the past few months is not really what I wanted.”
Reavely will be working on Glasgow-based Barrhead Travel’s multimedia call centre.
