Going Places

241 High Street,

Hounslow &#42&#42

A large and spacious agency with two consultants on duty.

I was immediately served by a friendly consultant who asked if I wanted flight only or accommodation with the holiday. She wanted to do a costing straightaway but I said I only needed information at this stage.

She gave me shop copies of the Tradewinds and Kuoni brochures to look at as shedidn’t have any for me to take away. She apologised for not having other brochures featuring Koh Samui, but suggested I return next week.

Thecheery consultant who met me at the door of this beautifully decorated agency immediately picked out the Sovereign Worldwide brochure.

She mentioned Hayes and Jarvis offers the destination but said they didn’t have any copies in at the moment but were expecting a delivery next week.

Despite having just booked a trip there for a client, she failed to elaborate on it and handed over a brochure without asking any questions or suggesting that I return. She was polite, but had a poor sales technique.

This was a neat-looking agency with limited brochure supply.

I was greeted by a friendly consultant who gave me Kuoni’s Tropical Sun brochure which she said would give me ideas. She then went to look for more in back office, deftly helping other customers on the way.

She returned with Cresta Worldwide and suggested Phuket as an alterative option.

She also showed me a file copy of Kuoni’s Worldwide brochure, praising it before suggesting I call at another agent to see if I could get hold of it.
