The First Resort signs Virgin.net deal

INTERNET-BASED agency The First Resort has signed a deal to
become the preferred holiday supplier for leisure and entertainment website
Virgin.net.

Visitors to the Virgin.net website will see the usual Virgin
branding, although the technology and the holidays on offer will come from The
First Resort.

The First Resort commercial director Hugh Clayson said: “We
have the technology and can re-brand our website to meet partner requirements.
The First Resort and Virgin.net is an exciting progression, the launch comes at
a perfect time to further boost sales for the late deals holidays’ market for
summer 2001.”

Initially customers will have to book over the phone
although on-line bookability will soon be added.
