New operator targets agents in bid to sell activity breaks

A NEW tour operator is targeting travel agents as it looks to establish itself as a company specialising in activity-based holidays.

Middlesex-based Mosaic Holidays is featuring holidays in Cuba, Egypt, Sri Lanka, Maldives and northern Cyprus.

Activities include ballooning, quad biking, deep-sea fishing and diving.

Managing director Sabina Shaida said agents will form an important avenue of distribution for the product.

“We are looking to sell through the trade and while we do not have huge manpower, we are carrying out sales and marketing drives with independent agents who we feel are best suited to sell our product,” she said.

“We are targeting the more active traveller and those who want a mix of culture and adventure”
