HOTEL group Le Meridien has signed a deal with technology
company Sabre to use its travel marketing products.
Le Meridien has introduced a new code for use on Sabre and
other global distribution systems – MD – and hopes to create awareness of its
products among travel agents by using the marketing tools Sabre PromoSpots and
Sabre Marketing Messages.
The two systems will allow Le Meridien to send information
about promotional offers and rates and product information direct to travel agents’
computer screens.
Under the terms of the deal, Le Meridien will make available
through Sabre all the rates it offers through other GDSs.
