LASTMINUTE.COM has further strengthened its presence in the
travel market with the purchase of Destination Holdings Group for £12 million.
Destination Holdings Group operates 25 websites specialising
in flights, packages and car hire under the Travel4less brand. Group managing
director Raj Kumar will join Lastminute’s executive committee as part of the
deal.
The move follows other recent travel acquisitions by
Lastminute, which have included Travelselect.com and a stake in Lufthansa City
Center.
