I AM sure all my fellow travel professionals would like to join me in saying an enormous thank you to Cunard for such a fabulous weekend on board Caronia last weekend from Liverpool to Southampton and Sunday lunch on board QE2.
The boat train was a wonderful start to the weekend and reminiscent of nostalgic times past. The Caronia naming ceremony will stay in our thoughts; it really was quite emotional and Liverpool was a perfect setting for the event. Even the inclement weather we experienced on the voyage to Southampton didn’t detract from the overall enjoyment.
Both Caronia and QE2 are looking quite stunning and Iam sure Cunard must be very proud with the new looks. The QE2 refit I personally feel is the best ever!
