Explosion in centre of Paris

 

FIREFIGHTERS
have been called to an explosion in the centre of Paris, which as injured at
least 12 people.

The
blast happened just before midday local time and led to the partial collapse of
a building close to the stock market in the city’s business district.

Early indications are that it was caused by a gas
explosion, rather than a terrorist attack.
