Flight Centre UK makes £3.6m profit

FLIGHT Centre UK has announced a £3.6 million profit for
the 12 months to June 2004.

It is the first time Flight Centre has released UK-specific
financial results since it moved on to the UK high street
in1995.

Chief financial officer Paul Ryan said the £3.6 million
profit, generated from total transaction value of more than
£300 million, is 20% up on the previous 12 months.

The agency has ambitious growth plans for the next financial
year and aims to open 19 new leisure and corporate stores – taking
the total number to 131.
