Great Eastern Hotel, Liverpool Street


Background: originally a grand old railway hotel, the hotel is being rebuilt as part of a partnership between Conran Holdings and Wyndham International.


Size: 267 rooms, including 21 suites.

Four Seasons, Canary Wharf


Background: a new-build property being constructed as part of a mixed-use development. It will be the chain’s second London hotel.


Size: 139 rooms, including 14 suites.

Target market: business and leisure, especially from the US.


Kingsway Hall, Great Queen Street


Background: this four-star hotel was built on the site of an old shopping arcade. It is owned by Cola Holdings, which also owns the Westbury in Bond Street and Harrington Hall in South Kensington.


Size: 170 rooms, all standard.

Target market: groups and conference market and lower four-star business and leisure market.
