OPODO chief executive Simon Vincent has quit the online agency to join Hilton Hotels Corporation as UK and Ireland president.
Vincent joined Opodo in 2004 and has grown the site in 10 European markets with gross sales of one billion Euros.
He said the chance to join Hilton was “too good to turn down”. He will be starting the role in the New Year.
Amadeus – Opodo’s parent company – has started looking for Vincent’s replacement.
Vincent, who launched Thomas Cook Direct in 1992, will help to manage the transition to the new chief executive.
