World Travel Market’s logo is to undergo its first redesign in its 27 year history.
The new logo has been adapted to indicate WTM’s many sub-brands, such as the newly-launched WTM World Responsible Tourism Day.
Organisers remain confident the logo’s familar globe shape will still be recognised by travel and tourism professionals worldwide.
WTM head of marketing Micaela Juarez said: “We wanted to retain elements of the design and colours in order that the world can still identify with the brand and its personality which has evolved over the years.”
The logo will be used for the first time in 2007 global advertising, marketing and promotion campaigns.
