Riley leaves Panorama to join Cadogan – 22 Nov 2006

Cadogan Holidays has appointed Panorama Holiday Group head of marketing John Riley as its new commercial and product director.

Reporting directly to managing director Tom Allen, Riley will join the Richmond-based operator at the end of January working on finding new destinations and developing new products.

He will also work on market pricing, developing special offers and management of overseas properties with a particular focus on Cadogan Holidays’ customer service and the development of new brochures.

Riley said: “I am really looking forward to working with Cadogan Holidays as it is such a well-respected and successful tour operator.

“This is a fantastic opportunity and I hope to utilise the vast experience I have within the travel industry to contribute to the continued growth of the company. It is an exciting challenge and one I am very much looking forward to starting.”

MyTravel-owned Panorama Holidays’ Brighton offices are being closed down and the operation moved to Manchester.

Allen said: “We are delighted to be able to welcome John to the Cadogan Holidays team. His wealth of experience in the travel industry will prove invaluable in driving our products forward and I have every confidence that we will soon see the benefits of having such a highly regarded expert on board.”
