has more than doubled its accommodation contracting team to 17 with the addition of eight new positions.

The company claims it now has the largest contracting team in the market. The new staff have mainly been employed to contract bedstock for Lastminute’s accommodation-only arm Medhotels.

Former Thomas Cook contractor Craig Jay has joined as head of contracts for the eastern Mediterranean.

Meanwhile, Dave Kennedy, who previously worked for Virgin Holidays, MyTravel and TUI, has been appointed contract manager. He reports into Jay.

Former TUI contractors Mike Woodall and Yolanda Capellas have joined as contract managers for the western Mediterranean, while Antonio Perdomo has also become a contract manager from Viajes Jumbo.

Kerem Ibrahim has been promoted from pricing executive to contracts manager for the eastern Mediterranean, with Kallinikos Angelidis promoted from product executive to contracts manager for the eastern Mediterranean.

The last appointment is yet to be finalised.
