Travel Counsellors steps up dynamic packaging training – 1 Mar 2007

Travel Counsellors has created two new roles as it focuses on training and dynamic packaging system Phenix.

The independent agency has appointed Helen Bate as training manager and Rachel Grenville as information officer at its Bolton head office.

Bate, who has worked in travel for 10 years, will develop the company’s training and support for its 700-plus home-based agents. She will help them to improve their skills and build up business.

Meanwhile, Grenville, previously a public relations manager, will be responsible for improving the content, quality and descriptions of product on the Phenix system. She is also tasked with improving the Travel Counsellors’ website and its online magazine.

Managing director Steve Byrne said: “We are expanding rapidly both in the UK and overseas.”
