Opodo has appointed Caroline Noble to head up its new decentralised UK operation.
The pan-European online agency overhauled its strategy earlier this year switching from a centrally run business to giving its individual country operations more flexibility and control to run their businesses in the way which suits the individual sites.
The move has seen 57 people in the UK office made redundant. Noble has been confirmed as UK director after fulfilling the role on an acting basis. Alex Gisbert has been made commercial director with Paul Treanor head of marketing.
In a statement the online agency claimed parent company Amadeus “remains committed to the success of Opodo”.
