Travel agent consortium Advantage has signed up hotel booking system Conferma as its preferred supplier.
Under the deal Conferma will provide its range of rates, which it pulls from both global distribution systems and the web, to the consortium’s 800 travel agents.
Advantage technology manager Jon Smiles said: “Its solution is fast, accurate and flexible thereby dramatically reducing the burden of booking an reconciliation for our travel agents.”
Conferma has also been awarded Payment Card Industry Date Security Standards Association compliance accreditation. Created by Visa and MasterCard PCI DSS is the benchmark security standard to secure card payment and cardholder details.
