Travel technology company Comtec has launched a mobile information services for travellers.
The new services have been developed in partnership with communications company 2ergo and is called TravelCat Messaging.
It will enable travel agents to automatically send booking-related information direct to traveller’s personal mobile devices. Comtec said the new interface is designed to provide a more direct means of communicating information.
The type of information transmitted can be managed by each customer and could include booking confirmation, advising ticket delivery/collection details, advising of balances due, delivering promotions or wishing clients a pleasant trip and/or welcome home.
