ABTA slams Daily Mail ‘holiday chaos’ report – 24 May 2007

ABTA and airlines slammed a Daily Mail report that “millions face holiday chaos” from June 19 when Spain requires advance passenger information on UK visitors.

An ABTA spokesman said, “We don’t foresee delays”, while the British Air Transport Association dismissed the story as “completely inaccurate”.

Only passport information is required and most check-in desks at major airports have passport scanners.
