Thomson is launching a brand to highlight its highest quality and most popular hotels according to star rating and customer reviews.
Marketing manager Ed Sumner said the Premier Collection brand will highlight about 180 four and five-star properties featured in the operator’s A La Carte, Beachclub and Platinum 2008 summer brochures.
Only properties that have scored at least 90% in customer service reviews have been selected.
Sumner said: “The idea is to really let our customers shape the Premium brand. This way customers can sell the properties to each other.”
A Premier Airport Benefits package has also been introduced for customers who have booked a Premier Collection property are flying with Thomsonfly.
Benefits include an increased luggage allowance, UK priority check-in, guaranteed adjoining seats for groups and a complimentary drink and set of headphones.
