Travel Counsellors has launched a ‘Round the World in 31 days’ incentive for its agents to boost January sales.
Sales this month have already reached an all-time high in the company’s 14-year history with more than £1 million in revenue achieved every day last week. Friday was its highest recorded sales day at £1.5 million.
The company hopes its latest incentive – to ‘fly around the world’ in a virtual challenge by meeting sales targets – will boost sales. All 860 home-based agents are taking part.
Each agent has a personal ’round the world’ sales goal. They can track their performance and position on a world map on the company’s intranet site.
Those who complete the journey are entered into a draw. Prizes include £1,000 of holiday vouchers and a trip to Disneyland Resort Paris.
Travel Counsellors sales director Malcolm Hingley said: “Goals are individually tailored to the agents’ personal performance. Our Travel Counsellors run their own businesses and are paid commission-only, so it’s important they stay focused.”
