Elite Travel Group to move to larger premises

The Elite Travel Group is to move to larger premises as it prepares to welcome its 100th member early this year.

The travel agency consortium, formerly Midconsort Elite, has identified new offices in the Midlands as it continues to expand. Details have yet to be announced.

Chairman Wayne Darrock said: “We have always planned to expand the group steadily so we will need extra resources. We will reach the 100 member mark early this year with a number of very keen agents ready to join over the coming weeks.”

The group has also reached a deal with the bank HBOS to provide low cost merchant fees to all its members.

Meanwhile, a further five members will go online with its Elite desktop system that enables members to create dynamic packages.

The group has also invited its top suppliers to a lunch later this month to discuss ways to work more closely together in future. It also plans to release details of the location of this year’s conference later this month.
