The Elite Travel Group has said it will allow more time for agents and operators to build relationships at this year’s conference.
Director Peter Buckell said: “Elite is to dedicate the time from the Saturday lunch break until the end of the day as ‘Talkzone’ and ‘Marketplace’ activities. This session will be one of the key differences at our conference, so that operators can spend more productive time building relationships with travel agents.”
General manager Nigel Ham said the move was in response to demand from those who attended last year’s conference in Jerez, Spain.
This year’s conference in Lanzarote is expected to attract more than 200 delegates. With the theme ‘Pure Elite’, the consortium promises to keep presentations short and relevant.
