Princess Cruises newest ship Majestic Princess will sail from Australia in 2018 and 2019.
The ship which was purpose-built for the Chinese market will be based in Sydney during the Australia summer season from September 2018 to March 2019.
It will then return to China from April 2019.
Majestic launched from Trieste, Italy on March 31 as it sailed to Rome to begin its six-week season sailing in the Mediterranean. From July this year until August 2018 it will then homeport in Shanghai.
At 143,000 tonnes it is the largest Princess ship in terms of tonnage and will carry up to 3,560 passengers.
While in China, cruises will only be available for the Chinese market but its Australia season will go on sale in the UK on Thursday April 27.
Cruises include a 12-night round trip from Sydney calling at Fiji and New Caledonia departing on September 15.
The ship will also sail 14 New Zealand including a 13-night round trip from Sydney to New Zealand which departs on November 5.
