Plaza Premium Group is to open a new departure lounge at Heathrow Terminal 5A and a Aerotel at the airport.
The group, which has lounges, hotels, meet and greets and dining at 140 locations in 35 airports worldwide, has also recently opened a lounge – Flight Club – in the Heathrow’s Terminal 4 arrivals.
With a “next-generation” design concept by Australian firm Mitchel Squires & Associates, the T5A departure lounge can cater for up to 156 and will have runway views.
The Aerotel will have 87 rooms in a mixture of twin and double, serve food and drink and have inclusive Wi-Fi.
Flight Club is a healthy eating restaurant within the lounge, which holds up to 75 people and can host meetings of up to 20 delegates.
“Healthy eating is extremely popular and it isn’t always possible to eat healthy at an airport. So, as part of Flight Club we want to bring an unparalleled airport dining experience for all of our guests with the promise of healthy meals inspired by herbs and seeds,” said Song Hoi-see, CEO of Plaza Premium Group.
