The Global Travel Group has attracted 33 new members in the past 12 months to bring the total up to 342.
Among the latest to join the consortium are Go Ben, Way 2 Go Holidays, Coddiwomple Travel, Graceful Escapes and Holiday Jet Setter.
Overall membership levels have risen by 22% per cent in the last year with record numbers joining the consortium.
Of the agencies who have signed up to join, 57% are newcomers attracted to the sector by the high levels of support offered to members, Global claims.
Head of new business Rhian Herbert said: “We are delighted to see that the Global Travel Group is helping encourage more new and established agents into running their own travel businesses.
“Our team is constantly updating the range of back-office tools, marketing materials and exclusive training opportunities available to our members, so it’s inspiring to see that our programme of carefully tailored support is motivating new travel businesses to succeed in one of the world’s most dynamic industries.”
The group’s overseas conference takes place at La Manga Club in Murcia, Spain, on May 21-24 with TV presenter and cruise singer Jane McDonald as guest speaker.
