Sister river cruise brands Scenic and Emerald Waterways are to run ‘drop-in’ agent training sessions in coffee shops nationwide.
The sessions start on June 9 and run throughout the month.
Agents will have an informal opportunity to meet their local Scenic and Emerald Waterways sales manager for training along with free coffee and cake.
Locations include Altrincham, Chester, Shrewsbury, Solihull, Harrogate, Cheltenham, Cardiff, Swansea, Bournemouth, Chichester, Canterbury, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Newcastle.
Each session will last between one to two hours and will cover each brand’s unique selling points, key destinations and rivers as well as the benefits of selling Scenic and Emerald Waterways including “generous” commission levels and River Rewards incentives.
Acting national sales manager Dawn Quinn said: “Our feedback is that agents are so receptive and keen to learn about the brands, but in a time and venue to suit them.
“These informal sessions in town and city-centre locations offer the perfect opportunity for new agents to meet their sales manager and be introduced to the benefits of booking from our portfolio of products and for established agents to find out what’s new and how to move their business to the next level.”
The coffee mornings will also cover Scenic’s new ocean ship, the 228-passenger Scenic Eclipse and the destinations on offer in its 2018-19 inaugural season.
